Bayou Movers, a reputable moving company, is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Moving Foreman/Driver. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient moving services for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Foreman Duties:

• Supervise and lead a team of movers during relocation projects.
• Plan and organize moving schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods with precision and care.
• Ensure proper packing techniques to prevent damage during transportation.
• Address and resolve any on-site challenges or issues that may arise.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive team dynamic.

REQUIREMENTS:

Foreman:

• Proven experience as a moving foreman or similar role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of proper packing and moving techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in moving or related fields are a plus.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

As a Moving Foreman/Driver at Bayou Movers, you'll be the crew lead on job sites across Houston and surrounding areas — Memorial, Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Midtown, and more. You drive the truck, run the crew, and represent Bayou Movers directly with customers on move day. Most jobs are day shifts. End-of-month dates and summer moves tend to be busier and longer days — that's when overtime kicks in.

We're a growing Houston moving company and the people who perform consistently move up. Foremen who demonstrate strong customer service and crew management skills are first in line for senior and operations roles as we expand.
